To preface, I'm hétérochrome / heterochrome, also known as 6v6 — currently the sole maintainer of the Hidden Gemmy Index.
So, what's the mission here? Why would you choose this website over FMHY.NET?

Good question. The Hidden Gemmy Index has one core gimmick that sets it apart from its estranged bigger cousin FMHY:

We keep everything on a single page.

Now, I know what you're thinking — isn't it easier to split things across multiple pages?
Easier to maintain, easier to navigate, less overwhelming at a glance?

Sure, maybe. FMHY is enormous, and quite popular. It's a sprawling wiki with hundreds of categories, subpages, and rabbit holes.

But sometimes you don't want a rabbit hole. Sometimes you want to scroll, skim, and stumble onto something you weren't looking for.
A single page means everything is discoverable.

The whole thing is written by hand only in plain HTML and CSS, in Notepad, rawdogged into existence one tag at a time.
That means you can print it, save it or archive it in one go.
